I am a thinker.

I spend days trying to puzzle out what is really important and why are we going after the things we are going after? For a prize without the effort is worthless and a solution without a problem is irrelevant.

Why is innovation such a difficult thing to invoke? Who says this is what you are cut out to do? At the end of the day, will my thoughts valuable? Or are they part of a swarm of thought; a sea of ideas; a mess of innovation? -- Stay tune and see!

On a more traditional front, I like to explore what makes business work. What are the components that we al l have in common, yet some prevail and some don't.

I am studying Business Process Management, Service Oriented Architecture, Event Processing and Business Activity Monitoring. I have a lot of heroes in this space including: Richard Soley, Roy Schulte, James Crump, David Luckham, Mani Chandy, Nick Gall. I believe that this fabric is this foundation that upon it's shoulders will be built the business, information systems and value of tomorrow.

I want to be instrumental in answering Nick Gall's famous challenge: "If we built software because hardware was too hard and now software isn't soft enough; what's softer than software?"

It is hard to know what to say about yourself. A lot of times you feel that you are being arrogant because you are focusing so much on yourself when other times you realize that no one really sings your praises but you.

I like creativity. In particular, I am thinking about how to make the next building blocks of computer science. Also, I want to make movies. I have written a script and now have started another one.

I am writing a book on how to bridge the chasm between a business and IT by the use of a defined enterprise architecture vocabulary. I know this sounds BORING, but it really isn't. Hopefully I will be able to tell the tale in a way that will make people want to read it.
