Having studied Law at Antwerp University I immediately started in 1983 in Tera CV, a company founded by my father. With the help of my staff and the board of directors we succeeded in getting Selexion to the premier position of consumer electronics retail disutribution in our country. In 1990 together with four other colleagues, we founded Euronics International GEIE a cross-border organisation which is now active in 27 countries in CE-DA-IT-Imaging-Telecom products. In this organisation I assume the post of Vice-President. In 2005 Tera CV merged with Action 25 an organisation of photo-telco retailers and the company was renamed Euronics Belgium CVBA, thus stressing the importance of the international network. Two years later the photo-telco stores received a new marketing name, Selexion Clix as to benefit from the synergies of one major brand, with a subdivision. Recently Euronics NV and Euronics Insurance Brokers were also founded. Euronics NV will roll out a second marketing name in the CE-market, "Euronics" which is already widely spread all over Europe, e.g. Germany, Italy, Spain, U.K., Sweden, Norway and many others. Euronics Insurance Brokers will offer insurance policies to the network of retailers of Euronics Belgium CVBA and Euronics NV.
