I started in the automotive industry in about 1983 by accident. As a convenient job I worked at service stations, managing etc. In 1996 I took over the business at one at Norman Park. I exited (escaped) with my now husband Terry in 2002 to find a life other than work. We have been running Service Centres since then; joining Repco Authorised Service in 2003, a good move!
Our business KATS Automotive Services has flourished a bit more each year. We have 10 staff members now. We enjoy improving our business each week bit by bit. We are lucky we have great staff who have helped us win several awards, general business and industry based.

In 1996 Kay started business in a field that was unusual for a woman then - as a service station operator. In 2002 KATS Automotive was born due to a need Kay, and new husband Terry, saw for an innovative workshop that appealed to clients who wanted a feel good experience at an affordable price. Visiting KATS is not impersonal dealership experience nor a "backyard" experience. Facilites offer free wireless connection, and a coffee in comfort while you wait, in their friendly reception area.
